tlhIngan Hol: The Klingon Language

j’me’: Language Instructor, Chaplain

A Klingon chaplain wearing a red Starfleet Command uniform. He looks up at something behind and beyond the camera.

I began teaching “Klingon Language 101” panels at conventions in 2014, because I wanted people to have something interactive; something to actually do. I currently teach at 2 conventions a year: one in Richmond, VA, and one in Raleigh, NC. I’ve performed several bilingual weddings, the first in French and English, and the next one involving Klingon. I’ve helped actors to say their Klingon speech lines correctly, and gotten credits in their play programs. I’ve been interviewed about teaching Klingon for a VA podcast and YouTube channel. And was once made up in full Klingon makeup by a Hollywood Special Effects Makeup Artist.
