Dear Region One and STARFLEET Members,
The USS Kitty Hawk (NCC 1659) is honored to host the Region One (First Fleet) Summit in 2026. The event will take place from May 15th to May 17th, 2026, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Raleigh Durham Research Triangle in Raleigh, NC. This venue offers an excellent setting for the Summit and provides numerous opportunities for activities both during and surrounding the event.
We cordially invite all Chapters to participate in this distinguished occasion. Scheduled programming includes a meet-and-greet on Friday evening, a Formal Banquet Dinner on Saturday night, and several informative panels throughout Saturday. The Formal Banquet will feature a buffet-style menu (details forthcoming) and a cash bar; complimentary water, iced tea, and coffee will be provided. Additionally, a special post-dinner event is being planned (to be announced).
As with previous Summits, volunteers are needed for Honor Guard, Final Mission, and other essential duties. We encourage participation from both STARFLEET and SFMC members and will be coordinating closely with the 1st Brigade SFMC and any others interested in contributing. A volunteer sign-up form will be made available in due course.
The event will also include a Region One silent auction, with all proceeds benefiting a designated cause (to be determined). Members are encouraged to support the auction not only by bidding but also by donating items.
The Summit is a volunteer-driven event and relies on member engagement. We welcome your suggestions for panel topics, encouragement of crew attendance, volunteering to host sessions, or donating items for the auction. Of course, attendees are also invited to enjoy the full schedule of activities and panels as guests.
Above all, our primary goal aboard USS Kitty Hawk and within STARFLEET is to foster enjoyment and fellowship. We look forward to seeing you at the Summit.
